They belong to that particular part of the country and therefore are best placed to use their knowledge of that part of the country to protect and conserve it along with fostering further research into how best to continue to do this important work in the face of climate change. It is a continuum that they can pass onto the rest of Australia so we all feel part of this country wherever we are originally from. Good luck with the projects.
