I support more indigenous rangers and indigenous protected areas because they are trained and have a heritage of caring for the environment of Australia especially areas outside of populated areas such as cities and towns. The occupation of ranger is ideally suited to indigenous Australians and should be promoted and supported to provide status for first nations people and an opportunity to show their talent and knowledge which in turn will build respect from the rest of the community.
