Country Needs People - Supporter Voices
I support this work because without men and women on the ground the environmental damage that has occured does not change or improve. I would love to see longterm funding for these jobs as it takes years and longterm plans/actions to address some of the many problems. loss of habitat, the introduced species(plants and animals) that have caused so much damage.It is a wonderful feeling that comes with knowing how important this work is. I always love to read and learn about the wonderful work being done in remote and different places protecting and preserving culture and country. I wish governments would understand how important it is for 20 year funding (minimum) to achieve good results. After all these problems have been many years in the making. Thank you.
