Country Needs People - Supporter Voices
Our indigenous peoples are the heart mind spirit and soul of this country and that position and sovereignty should never be taken away again from them. Education has, unfortunately, always been seen as a means only to employment and out here in remote WA there are very few culturally relevant jobs, if any jobs at all. For the young people to see their family and elders getting paid to work and protect country and therefore law and culture is extremely significant and has a rippling effect throughout the whole community. Please let this continue!
