Country is Life for the aboriginal people. To empower them to care for the land and to nurture it brings their people together. It also brings hope and a innate purpose in their lives for which they had been doing for 70,000 years before white settlement. Coming together to celebrate their culture and helping the young to learn about Country helps give them a better understanding of who they are and where they have come from. This why it is so important for young aboriginals living in suburbia to revisit and celebrate their unique way of life!
