Country Needs People - Supporter Voices
Indigenous people have had to deal with so much - displacement, loss of land and culture. By providing them with employment within their land we give back much. Employment, land and belonging are all aspects that are important to the social determinants of health. If we want to decrease the gap amongst health in Australia (ie a 20 year disparity between life expectancy), this program goes a long way to addressing that.
