Indigenous rangers and Indigenous Protected Areas are two of Australia's most successful programs - delivering real results for people and nature.
We call for Government to grow and secure these programs in consultation with traditional owners and their support organisations by:
- Over 10 years, double the number of Indigenous rangers.
- Invest $25 million per annum indexed for training, capacity building, networking and capital costs across the regions.
- Over four years, doubling Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) program.
- Equal employment opportunities for women by 2030.
