Send a message to Minister Trad and Minister Enoch calling on the Queensland Government to deliver on their promise of more Indigenous ranger jobs

    OR

In November, the now Treasurer and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Minister Jackie Trad made this promise:

“A re-elected Labor Government will continue to support this special program and look for ways to build upon its successes to date.”

Now we need your help to make sure the Government backs up this promise with more jobs for Indigenous rangers in the 2018 state budget.

Add your voice by sending a message to Treasurer Trad and Environment Minister Enoch calling on the government to match their words with actions.

This message will be sent to the Environment Minister, Treasurer and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Minister

Dear Environment Minister, Treasurer and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Minister,

    CC: Local MP, Premier

Your new government now has a chance to deliver environmental, economic and social benefits for every Queenslander through more support for the Indigenous ranger program.

Before the election, representatives from Labor said:
“A re-elected Labor Government will continue to support this special program and look for ways to build upon its successes to date.”

Please tell me what your Government will do to match these words with specific commitments to grow Indigenous ranger jobs in the 2018 State Budget. This is a great opportunity for people and nature in our state, and will create jobs for Queenslanders where they are needed most.

    Yours sincerely,
