When the prime minister Malcolm Turnbull tabled the eighth Closing the Gap report in parliament last month, he reaffirmed his government's commitment to Indigenous equality.

Now a group of Indigenous rangers have travelled to Canberra to convince the government that their program is succeeding in reducing that gap.
