1. What’s the Story?

Answer

There is plenty of work to do in Queensland in sustaining and repairing our natural and cultural heritage. We need local boots on the ground that are skilled and supported to manage fire, feral animals, weeds and natural and cultural heritage. Who better to take up this work than local traditional owners of country through Indigenous Ranger jobs?

We know Queensland can do more, and every new Ranger position means a job where it’s needed, in the bush and the regions, around our urban fringe delivering value for every Queenslander. Ahead of the 2020 Qld Election, now is an important time to let each of your local candidates know that Queenslanders want to grow the number of Indigenous ranger jobs.

Sign this petition to call on all Qld pollies to grow the number if Indigenous ranger jobs in Queensland.
