Who donates to Country Needs People? How does my donation to Country Needs People help? Are my donations tax deductible? What methods can I use to make a donation? Will I receive a tax-compliant receipt for my donations? How can I set up recurring monthly donations? Can I avoid paying platform fees for my donations? I’m already a donor, how do I update my details? Can I make a donation in memory of someone? What is the difference between a bequest and a gift in Will? Can I include Country Needs People in my will? What if I don’t have a will? I have a question that isn’t answered here. How can I get it answered?

Can I include Country Needs People in my will?

Answer

Yes.

When you include Country Needs People in your Will you will be leaving the gift of a better future for generations to come through support of Indigenous Ranger groups and Indigenous Protected Areas Australia-wide, with all the environmental and biodiversity benefits that follow.

For more information on leaving a gift in your will, please visit our Leave a Legacy page for all information including an easy-to-read flyer with all the details you’ll need.  Or don't hesitate to call us for a sensitive and confidential discussion on 1300 505 274.

Country Needs People is a national not-for-profit organisation born from the support of hundreds of Traditional Owners around the country.

We pay our respects to all the First Nations people around Australia and their unbroken commitment to keep Country strong on land and sea. We acknowledge Indigenous partners, Traditional Owners, Elders past, present and emerging and extend our appreciation of their support and guidance of our daily work.

ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE, ABORIGINAL LAND.
