In today's Partner Spotlight, we focus on Dulabed & Malanbarra Yidinji Aboriginal Corporation (DMYAC) Land Management.
Who are Dulabed & Malanbarra Yidinji Aboriginal Corporation Land Management?
DMYAC are in the Gordonvale region, Far North Queensland and represent the Malanbarra Clan of the Yidinji Tribe, one of 20 Rainforest Aboriginal Tribal Groups who are custodians of some of the oldest living rainforest in the world.

What's their Country like?
DMYAC's Jawajawa Rangers care for Country in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, which includes the Wooroonooran National Park which they co-manage with QLD Parks. This region is home to ancient remnants of Gondwana Rainforest with at least 88 species of vertebrate animals found nowhere else on earth.

What's their key focus?
Jawajawa Rangers focus on revegetation, fauna surveys, traditional burning, caring for cultural places including bora grounds and cultural tracks, water quality monitoring, invasive species control and more. They also strengthen culture by engaging young people and Elders in a language program and through culture and language on-country activities.
